RemoteControl
1.0
What is
RemoteControl?
RemoteControl is a weird application that adds remote camera
control capabilities to Microsoft's NetMeeting™ video
conferencing software. With RemoteControl you can remotely pan,
tilt, and zoom the camera at the far end of a video conference
call. Similarly, you can allow others to remotely control your
camera.
RemoteControl will work with other RemoteControl equipped
systems, or with any videoconferencing system that supports
"H.281 camera control" over a "H.245 data
channel". Examples would include the popular Polycom
Viewstation ™ line of videoconferencing products.
RemoteControl's user interface is very straightforward. Pan,
tilt, and zoom are manipulated directly on the NetMeeting ™
video display using a mouse. Advanced features, like camera
selection and presets, are accessed via a popup menu in the
system tray. (Learn
