My
Address Book is great for either personal use or a
club/organizations use to allow easier contact between
members. What it does is allow you to have an on-line
address book of all your friends/associates/contacts e-mail
addresses. No more being out on the road or at another
computer and having that much needed e-mail address locked
away on your home terminal. Now you can access it from
anywhere on the web! Your friend/associates/contacts can
even at themselves to the address book!
One
of the features for our European users is that the program
will allow users to submit their "tussenvoegsel"
and it will list the users taking that into consideration!
(NOTE: tussenvoegsel is NOT used in the demo version.)
Old
addresses and your not sure if they are still valid? This
program allows a unique feature. You can run a check form
the email panel that sends an email out to all the addresses
in the book. It requests that the person with that e-mail
address confirm their e-mail address. If they want to remain
in the address book and/or the e-mail address is valid then
they simply click the link in the e-mail and it is confirmed
for you!
After the time limit for addresses to be confirmed you then
have an admin function that will present un-confirmed e-mail
addresses and you can either confirm them yourself, delete
them or hold them pending contact.
When
a person submits their name and e-mail address, you have
three verification options:

You
can have all submissions posted directly to your address
book.

You
can have all submission held pending your approval or
rejection of that name and e-mail address.

You
can have a confirmation of information. With this, the
person who submits their name and e-mail address is sent
an e-mail with an link that they must click to confirm
their submission. This presents wrong or false e-mail
addresses from being posted.
Additionally,
this program uses my unique backup and restoration utilities
so that there is an extremely diminished possibility of your
losing all your data from a surge of hits.
