This script is a handy utility for
the person who gets around a lot. I use it extensively when
I'm not at home.
What this is, simply, is an
E-Mail form on a page within a protected directory of my
professional site. I use this when I'm on the road or not at
home, to send E-Mails. You just need to fill in an address
(which the program checks to ensure is in valid format) and a
subject, then the text.
Presto! Your E-Mail is sent and
you did not need to be at your computer to access your E-Mail
client or at a computer which allows you to even send e-mails!
One of the great boons to this
is that your E-Mail has your return address and does not have
the sometimes questionable addresses like "bigboss@hotmail.com".
I'm not slamming Hotmail, they offer a valuable and great
service. However, for a professional image you will want all
of your E-Mails to have your own E-Mail address on them.
This script creates an archive
of messages that is not yet accessible. This is for the V2.0
release (no date yet) which will allow you to retrieve an
archive of messages that you have sent.
